Oakland Hills

The Scandinavian heritage of these clients, and their love of Danish design, was a driving force behind the sophisticated simplicity and warmth of this new interior composition. Clean lines and a bright palette compliment and accentuate numerous cozy seating areas nestled around the perimeter of a larger gathering space. The kitchen is expanded for greater utility and enjoyment with an engaged perimeter counter that serves both the indoor and direct outdoor spaces. A unifying horizontal millwork element acts as a common datum line which ties together various architectural features throughout the space.
